Being a shearer is one of the most demanding jobs on the back and body, in the world!!!. (no one else goes to work with a sweat towel around their neck!!.) Not only are you shearing the sheep, (bent over) you also have to tip over and drag each sheep from its pen. They are not light animals and are also getting heavier!!!.

Back in the eighties I suffered chronic pain with my back, ending up in hospital in traction yet again! After being told I had to give up shearing (by Doctors) or end up in a wheelchair, or have an operation with no guarantee to be walking afterwards, let alone shearing again, I didn't have much choice.

I chose not to have the operation, so I had to look for ways to improve the strength of my back and my general health myself.

I found all sorts of pain killers in medicines and pills, also a sling to help me do my job, but nothing to actually strengthen my back and keep it strong. I came up with this idea quite a few years ago. The Laybak has been tremendously successful, and now hundreds of other people are benefiting from the Laybak.

Now I am in my sixties and no longer shearing full time, but I still have a strong healthy back and have no trouble whatsoever with it.

I challenge you to try the Laybak for 30 days and if your back is not feeling better and stronger after our 30 day programme we will give you your money back!
